
Join me and Dani Tubman, personal trainer and owner of Baby Boot Camp, for a fun 5 weeks of "Introduction to Speed Work" clinics. Many of us are training for the Eugene Women's Half on September 5th and this is a great way to learn how to gauge and improve your pace.

DETAILS: We'll talk about our goals and warm up. At our first class we'll do a timed mile (not a race pace) and record your time. From there we will do a few laps and learn how to feel what different paces feel like. We'll talk about different types of speed work and how to incorporate that into your running schedule. Doing speed work is not about going "all out". It's about making incremental changes so you can learn better pacing for different race distances and to train your body to run faster.
WHEN: Every Wednesday from 6:00am - 7:00am from July 28th through August 25th.
WHERE: South Eugene Track, just north of Amazon Trail.
BRING: Water bottle, Garmin or stop watch if you have one. Layered clothing.
