Off the Waffle

logo_off_waffleIf you have never had Off The Waffle fare, you are in for a treat. They are right when they say you should forget everything you know about waffles when you try them. These are waaay different. As in better. As in amazing. Liege waffles are made from a yeast-based dough containing imported Belgian pearled sugar, which caramelizes throughout the waffle due to its high melting point. This caramelization effect is the secret that gives the waffles the unique flavor and essence that may flatter, impress, delight, empower, and maybe even confuse you.
